Security Testing and Expertise
Modern infrastructures such as communication systems, building automation, vehicles and digital platforms are now highly interconnected. The ongoing digitalisation in both the civil and military sectors is constantly expanding the attack surface and increasing cyber risks for our society. The CYD Campus investigates security-critical technologies in order to identify risks and opportunities at an early stage and strengthen Switzerland’s cyber resilience
AI security
Artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities, but also brings with it new security risks. AI systems can be manipulated, misused or deliberately influenced – for example, through hidden backdoors, insecure training data or unexpected behaviour of chatbots and automated systems. The CYD Campus therefore investigates the security, robustness and trustworthiness of AI systems and analyses potential risks for critical applications.
Scientific, Independent, Competent and Trusted
We analyse security-relevant technologies and systems within the context of the Swiss security and research landscape. This includes, amongst other things:
- Security Analysis
- Technology Risk Analysis
- Pentration Testing
- Reverse Engineering
- Vulnerability Research
- Review of Security Concepts and Architectures
Our testing capabilities and expertise are based on state-of-the-art methods, hackathons and our unique laboratories, where we conduct practical experiments. We test a wide range of systems and components, in which we regularly identify security vulnerabilities. These include, in particular:
- Windows Platforms
- Linux Platforms
- Web Applications
- Middlewares
- Computer Networks
- VPN Technologies and Crypto Solutions
- Command and Control Information Systems
- Drones
- Vehicles
- Wireless Communication Systems (Language and Data)
- Aviation and Satellite Communication Systems
- Artifical Intelligence Systems
